Everyone’s out here denying that Covid is real but complaining that their Opera starts get sick all the time…. hmmm….
False
Everywhere, even where I live, flu is more dominant at the moment than COVID
Yes. It winter incase anyone forgot!
Covid is real, but not every infirmity is Covid.
It’s not Covid! It’s simply people with normal winter bugs showing no resistance from bringing locked up in winter 2020 and some of 2021. Either flu or a very bad cold. I am one of those too. Nine Covid tests later in nine days, plus others done when visiting elderly. I have simply got a very bad cold, a hacking cough and 37.9C temperature, so grounded on my for Christmas, and many more like me! But not Covid.
Rarely cancels, great voice. I wish him a quick recovery.
You’re kidding, right?
Too many people have failed to get the flu vaccine this year, no doubt as a result of covid fatigue. That’s a real shame, because the data from the southern hemisphere (whose flu season precedes ours) shows that epidemiologists predicted this season’s flu virus variants with splendid accuracy, so the vaccine is particularly effective.
Not to be neglected is the RS virus, which is also prevalent this season.
Sadly available on the NHS in the UK only to ‘vulnerable’ people …
No, that’s not true. I’ve had the flu injection every year since 50 and I’m certainly not vulnerable. It’s not that expensive to pay, and a lot of firms give their staff the option free of charge, but at the end of the day it’s not fool-proof. One has to accept certain things in this life, and one is that things are not always perfect.
I had the flu injection but it doesn’t always stop one getting the flu.
