A classical convoy left Kyiv this morning

www.lookingatthestars.org international classical music convoy taking off from Kyiv (-2 C) earlier this morning. Almost 700 km to cover on the way to Eastern Ukraine and deliver a 45 minute-long piano recital in the historic landmark location in the open air there (+10 C) …. Our weapons – a grand piano (our HIMARS), electrical generators, cameras and drones are now loaded onto truck and several minibuses! Гарної дороги, dearest paratroopers!!!
The spiritual connectedness of Ukrainians with each other is a lesson for all of us. That music is so important: singing, instrumental, and the sacrifices made to perform in spite of cultural institutions being destroyed just shows us that we must be grateful for all the opportunities we have in the West to enjoy the finest creations of musical art. May these courageous people be safe.
