Vienna Festival loses its head, again
NewsIt was made known this morning that the director of the Wiener Festwochen, Christophe Slagmuylder, will leave next summer, a year before his contract is up. His predecessor, Tomas Zierhofer-Kin, lasted just three years.
Slagmuylder, 55, is returning home to Belgium to become head of the Palais des Beaux-Arts (Bozar) in Brussels.
Vienna is left looking hapless.
A decade ago, its Festwochen was one of the strongest attractions in Europe.
Wasting more taxpayers money…..
