NewsFreelance singer Flora McIntosh is the new Artistic Director of Opera Up Close, succeeding Robin Norton Hale, who is the new head of English Touring Opera.
In other rounds, Samantha McShane replaces James Thomas at the Manchester Camerate; he is off to Sage Gateshead and the Royal Northern Sinfonia.
And Boston Lyric Opera has confirmed Bradley Vernatter as General Director and CEO, following two years as interim.
