The celebrated jazz clarinetist and saxophonist Rolf Kühn has died at a great age. He was the German counterpart to Benny Goodman.

    He was the older brother of pianist Joachim Kühn (born 1944), and like him, had a large stylistic spectrum, far more than a “german Benny Goodman”…

    Very sad news. However nor do I believe that his model was the great Benny Goodman.
