RIPThe former Sony CEO Nobuyuki Idei has died in Tokyo of liver failure, aged 84.
Idei, who was CEO from 1998 until 2005, was Norio Ohga’s handpicked successor.
He drove Sony’s expansion into Playstation and other video games.
