Breaking: Russian ballet chief quits
NewsThe Russian ballet master Igor Zelensky has abruptly left the Bavarian State Ballet, where he has been director since 2016.
‘Leading a ballet company requires absolute concentration and capacity,’ said Zelensky. ‘However, at present, private family affairs require my full attention and time, which are not compatible with the management of a ballet company. Therefore, after careful consideration, I decided to resign as the ballet director of the Bavarian State Ballet from April 4, 2022 and to withdraw from all tasks related to it. My family needs all my support now.’
State Opera chief Serge Dorny said: ‘I have great respect for this not simple decision and wish Igor Zelensky and his family all the best. In the last years, Mr Zelensky has strengthened the international appeal of the Bavarian State Ballet. This enables us to look forward to the future with confidence. I would like to sincerely thank Igor Zelensky for his work for the Bavarian State Ballet.’

The world is full of great artists !! Who cares, let him go ! Whoever has “dirty” hands and is doing dark actions with “il padrone” should feel indeed guilty and leave. Gergiev, Zelensky, Netrebko get millions from the West, but are also loyal to a murderer !! None of them mentioned his name and his bloody war !!They had been picking up anyhow the”raisins” from both sides. For me such people are without character. Their hands are washed with blood.
