The Philadelphia Orchestra has added Ukrainian composer Myroslav Skoryk’s Melody from the film The High Pass to its forthcoming Chopin and Shostakovich concerts, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

Audiences will be asked to observe a moment’s silence after the Melody.

As well as this solidarity measure, before the concert Ukrainian musicians will perform music from their homeland in Commonwealth Plaza at the Kimmel Center.
