New concertmaster in Gergiev’s former orchestra
NewsThe Munich Philharmonic last night confirmed Naoka Aoki as its new concermaster
Aoki, 31, was born in Tokyo, studied in London and has been a soloist with leading orchestras. She has continued her studies in Munich over the past three years.
Good news!
Thankfully the Munich Philharmonic still has two concertmasters appointed by Celibidache: Lorenz Nasturica-Herschcowici and Julian Shevlin. But let’s welcome Ms. Aoki.
After that disgraceful behavior I am not patronizing the orchestra.
Seriously, Celi has been dead for 25 years. Get a life.
