22 abused chorus singers are offered $3k to go away
NewsThere’s a rising chorus of outrage in Copenhagen as the national broadcaster announced the results of an independent legal investigation into years of persistent sexual abuse at the DR Girls Choir.
The report confirms sexual harassment in 22 out of the 64 cases investigated.
The 22 women have been offered 25,000 krone in compensation. That is precisely $3,662.81 each.
Not so much a recompense for abuse, more a kick in the teeth.
None of the abusers has faced any legal proceedings.
