A Russian conductor rescues family at Ukraine border
NewsA further message from Daniel Raiskin, music director in Winnipeg and Bratislava:
In addition to my previous statement, condemning the war the Russian Government, led by President Putin is waging on Ukraine, I would like to send the following message in order to eliminate any and all misunderstandings: In these extremely distressing times, while my family members are being bombed by the armed forces of the country I was born and grew up in, I am suspending all immediate and future work and concert appearances in Russia. Until the senselessly barbaric bestialities are halted, peace restored and justice served, I do not feel being on moral ground while collaborating with institutions subsidized by the murderous Russian regime.

While Putin smirks on the kremlin instagram. Are you looking, Xi Jinping, what are you doing?
Someone with guts!
How long until we see Spivakovs going personally to pick up refugees from Ukraine at the border and putting them up in their nice house in Paris, instead of pretending they weren’t in cahoots with Putin’s media at KULTURA TV MOSCOW.
Shame on you Spivakov, Vladimir and Sati,- you actually agreed with Russian’s annexation of Crimea, which started all this off in the first place!
Shame on you Spivakovs
I watch you on Kultura with your concerts all over Russia thanks to being an arch two faced compromiser.
I wonder how much of the cash you earnt you would give back to look after 1000s of your Jewish friends DESPERATELY leaving Kherson and Odessa TODAY?
I hope you read this after the cancellation of your Junket in COLMAR
Support and love for Daniel Raiskin, wonderful conductor and brave man.
See, this is how it is done. All the best to him & family.
