Ah, but one must have a Facebook account in order to do so. I have avoided it like the plague since its inception, as I have with all other social media (I watched a dear friend ruin her budding Zwischenfach-Sopran career due to a Facebook addiction which made her miss rehearsals and be perpetually late for performances until she was fired from an ensemble member contract).
I do not need to read Fake News, nor do I wish to share photos of my lunch with the world. I’ll stick to my ancient cell phone (no iPhone/Smartphone for me!) and basic internet services (i.e. YouTube, and only on rare occasions) and email. I’m just an old Luddite.
No FB? I have 3 Facebook accounts. You never know who is who on the internet!
Good for you, Anonymous Bosch.
You sound like a load of fun!!
No Mr Bosch, you don’t need to be on FB to see the video!
I avoid social like pest, but if you click as written by Mr Lebrecht, you will succeed in watching the video.
I would strongly advise you to do it, as it is just top enjoyable!
He’s not the only conductor to do this with the VPO since they can do it without a conductor.
Big deal, the orch can play alone. Now let him conduct that way with Mahler 2
Hahaha!…mais ce chef d’orchestre est juste génial dans cet extrait: j’ai ri autant qu’admiré!
Merci, Mr Lebrecht, you made my day!!!
There are many great orchestral recordings with Ferencsik conducting. F.Y.I.
