The sanction of the Conservatoire de Paris towards Jérôme Pernoo is suspended.
This sanction was deemed totally disproportionate to the facts of the case.
The Conservatoire is required to reinstate Jérôme Pernoo as a cello teacher.

Yesterday, December 7th, the Paris Administrative Court, ruling in summary proceedings, suspended the disciplinary sanction of a one-year suspension from his position that had been issued against Mr Jérôme Pernoo by the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris.
Following the hearing held on 18 November, during which the Conservatoire did not wish to be represented, the judge of expedited proceedings noted, firstly, that this sanction appeared to be disproportionate to the alleged acts of Mr Pernoo. In addition, he stated that the criticism regarding the lack of impartiality of the administrative investigation conducted by Caroline de Haas and her company Egaé was indeed serious. The judge also pointed out the irregular composition of the disciplinary board and the procedure that had been implemented by this committee.
In the words of his lawyers Patrice Spinosi and Chirine Heydari-Malayeri: “It is obviously a huge relief for Jéróme Pernoo. Administrative court’s ruling is simply the result of the lack of any grounds for the unjust proceedings of which he has been a victim for many months. Guided by an investigation conducted solely by the militant Caroline de Haas, who never respected even the most elementary rules of adversarial proceedings and the rights of the defense, the Conservatoire’s decision to impose sanctions could not be anything but flawed. Jérôme Pernoo, who has always been supported by his students, has never ceased to denounce the damaging rumour that he was the target of. The administrative judge has begun to restore the truth in this matter. Mr Pernoo’s right to the presumption of innocence must now be restored, as he waits for his reputation to be cleared of an unjust accusation, widely reported by the media, which has tarnished his previously spotless reputation.”
In effect, following the decision, the Conservatoire must reinstate Jérôme Pernoo to his position as professor. He will contact this institution to set up the conditions for his return.

We are living in the age of “The Crucible.” Accusations fly this way and that: sexism, racism, woke-ism, are there any more categories?
To be human, today, is to be suspected of only nefarious intentions.
A mob follows, like medieval peasants chasing witches.

There are far too many gossipy articles about too many talented musicians, envied by the less talented. It’s very tiresome.

And he has already been suspended again…
The directrice of the CNSM wrote to tell him the suspension had been revoked… but that they have opened a new enquiry and have suspended him again.
Ridiculous actions by a new leader at the Conservatoire who has decided to make an impact, regardless of evidence, benefit or the needs of students/staff.
