Just in: Zurich grabs Barenboim’s man
NewsZurich Opera has just named Matthias Schulz, director of Berlin’s Staatsoper Unter den Linden, as its next director, succeeding Andreas Homoki in 2025.
Schulz, 44, has been Daniel Barenboim’s Intendant since 2018. Among his initiatives are founding a children’s opera company and re-establishing the Barocktage festival.
