“Dumps” is an interesting way to say “postpones,” but okay

Time to compose a work dedidacted to Covid nuts!
Luckily that no one will ever hear it live….
    Case closed!

    that would be Hannover …

  • Peter San Diego says:

Thus: not dumped for lack of interest, but postponed out of public health concerns. Much less dramatic, this way.

Everyone will be dead from Omicron by then. The sky is falling!

  • Gary says:

Doesn’t Brahms look uncannily like Tom Hiddleston?

The canceled event consisted of five concerts in HANNOVER – the symphonies, concertos, Requiem, between February 20 and 27. I see no sign that it would have included chamber music, or the vast corpus of lieder and music for vocal ensembles that is rarely performed. It didn’t even include works like the overtures, Haydn Variations, Alto Raphsody, Song of Destiny, etc.

  • Anthony Sayer says:

I lived in Hamburg for six years and never got the impression the city cared much about Brahms.
