At the Dresden Philharmonic 73% of the musicians are vaccinated, against under 59% for the general Saxon population.
At the Berlin Philharmonic, 95 percent have been jabbed, against a city average of 70%.

Well …. In the LSO every single member is at least double vaccinated (soon all to be boosted) as well as any guest coming in to play with the orchestra. It’s mandatory for touring apart from the obvious benefits…..
…and how delighted many of us are to be able to hear the LSO in so many wonderful halls across Europe!

I say this as someone who is German: Germans are a stupid people. They always rebel in the wrong places and always run after the wrong people when it matters.
I think you could say that about quite a few countries, sadly.

Just saying.
Cant play in major halls in Aust, incl Syd Opera House, unless double vaxed. Cant attend as a patron either unless vaxxed, and cant even get inside the Opera House to look around as a visitor unless double vaxxed. As it should be for musicians’ and attendees’ safety and health.
No Marg. It’s something that YOU need to decide to do. And you do it for YOURSELF.

Because they are utterly dependent on the state. These are no independent musicians were talking about. No, we’re talking about utter conformance, to orchestra and state.
And to be honest: only idiots would play in orchestras today. Why? Because of the utterly missing human interpretative aspect. Instead there’s an utter void, and just conformance to protocol and non-individuality.
It’s true. You cannot be yourself. No no. You have to bow down to diversity, woke idiocy agendas… or else!!
