London ensemble wins 75,000 Euros
OrchestrasThe new-musicn group Explore Ensemble has been named as one of two recipients of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation’s Ensemble Prize.
The other winner is Poland’s Spółdzielnia Muzyczna.

Let it be noticed that this poor man even plays the ‘fantasy flute’ at 16:18, comparable with the silent gestures for the conductor that Mrs Gubaidulina inserted in one of her ‘spiritual’ pieces.
All of that stuff has already been ‘explored’ half a century ago. and it never left anything memorable, so it can be called ‘dementia music’, or ‘placebo music’.
