  • Bone says:

RIP to a fellow low brass player.

  • James Scott says:

Dennis was a fantastic player and a great guy. In addition, he was a fine teacher, and many of the tuba players working in Canada spent time studying with him. RIP Dennis.

  • Dennis Scheel says:

Dennis Miller was nothing short of a legend on the tuba. There is a famous tuba excerpt from the Ravel orchestration of Mussorgski’s Pictures at an Exhibition that is normally played on euphonium because of the fact that it is uncharacteristically high pitched for a tuba. As such, very few tuba players worldwide are capable of performing this excerpt on tuba and making it sound great…Dennis was one of them! R.I.P. my friend. You will be profoundly missed
