A Von Trapp singer has died
RIPEleonore “Lorli” von Trapp Campbell died Sunday in Northfield, Vermont, at the age of 90.
The second daughter of Georg and Maria von Trapp, she was an adjunct to the older von Trapp children who starred in The Sound of Music.
Lorli is survived by seven daughters of her own.
Condolences. John Coltrane seized upon a famous song from The Sound of Music, My Favorite Things, as a song of Innocence and Experience, depicted by those major and minor modalities.

So sorry to read this. She was a truly lovely person who loved the arts. We met at one of the concerts I performed in Stowe, VT three years ago. We share a photo together which is dearly cherished. One can see why the family settled in Stowe, as it gently reflected what they had in Austria insofar as scenic beauty.
What a movie that was.
