  • Jonathan Sutherland says:

I heard Sonja Šarić sing a fabulous Madame Cortese in “Il Viaggio a Reims” at Oper Graz three years ago.
She displayed immaculate roulades and an outstanding Rossini technique in “Di vaghi raggi adorno” and the “I forestieri presto se n’ vanno” stretta was a model of crisply articulated, precise patter singing.
She was also an hilarious actress and natural comedienne.
Sonja Šarić justly deserved the Eva Marton Competition win.
    She will go far.
