Death of much-recorded French organist, 71
RIPThe death has been announced of the celebrated organist Jean-Patrice Brosse. He had been suffering from cancer.
Brosse apeared regularly with the leading French orchestras and festivals and recorded long series for several labels.
He specialised in music by Parisian harpsichordists of the Enlightenment era – Michel Corrette, Claude Balbastre, Armand-Louis Couperin, Joseph Nicolas Pancrace Royer, Simon Simon and more.
