A huge official concert has been given in Moscow to honour Russian athletes who competed under a phony ROC designation at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The Putin-pet pianist Denis Matsuev and the State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yuri Bashmet performed part of Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto and the Queen hit ‘We will rock you’.

How ironic. Music of Tchaikovsky (a gay man) and Queen (lead vocalist, Freddie Mercury – a gay man). Presented under the auspices of a government which still persecutes LGBT people. More fodder for the masses of Russians who can’t put adequate food on the table, whose life expectancy ranks 97th among nations of the world, and who have little hope of upward mobility as long as Putin remains in power.

Of course, everyone knows Russia couldn’t compete under their own flag due to the massive doping program sponsored by Putin and his enablers.

Please his last name is Tchaikovsky, not Tchaik. My Russian friends are really repulsed by Tchaik. I used to say it too, but now I know better

    • M2N2K says:

Please tell your Russian friends that raping Tchaikovsky’s music as demonstrated in this video is much more repulsive than circumcising his last name occasionally.

    • TAti says:

Pathetic that even someone as intelligent as Norman says that rubbish

      • M2N2K says:

What is really “pathetic” is the fact that a musician as talented as Yuri Bashmet who not that long ago was one of the world’s finest violists is now reduced to being not much more than his government’s junior lackey.

    • Baerengeist says:

You can also say “Tchainik”. Your russian friends do/did for sure as well XD
