Israel mourns jazz influencer, 55

The sudden death of saxophonist and teacher Erez Barnoy has been receieved with shock and dismay across all musical genres in the country.

He was the first point of contact for many musicians visiting Israel.

    Erez was an astounding musician and educator, where he ran the Center for Jazz Studies at the Israel Conservatory of Music, Tel Aviv. This is a terrible loss.
