The actors’ names may not mean much to you on first hearing but I promise you’ll recognise them as soon as you see them from their many and distinguished television and film roles. These two, Daniel Mays and David Thewlis, are serious and important actors or they wouldn’t be starring at the Old Vic in Harold Pinter’s darkly funny, insidiously menacing The Dumb Waiter in their globally live streamed series, OLD VIC: IN CAMERA.
Ben and Gus are seasoned hitmen awaiting details of their next target in the basement of a supposedly abandoned cafe. When the dumbwaiter begins sending them mysterious food orders, the killers’ waiting game starts to unravel.

Who’s she talking to that doesn’t know David Thewlis and Daniel Mays? I forgot — Americans don’t think anyone outside the US knows anything about anything. I recognised them from your cover page picture.
Reminds me of a commentary extra I heard on the DVD of The Sum of All Fears. The commentator was Tom Clancy, author of the book upon which the movie was based. Well in, he remarked on Ciaran Hinds, a favourite actor of mine, then as now. He said what a promising guy this was for an unknown.
