WOWWWW ! She performed with Enrique Batiz?
… and lived to tell the tale!
As Thumper’s mother said in the film Bambi, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say nothing at all.”
C’mon, Norman, the headline should read:
“HENRYK SZERYNG, ENRIQUE BATIZ, SERGIU CELIBIDACHE, CARLOS CHAVEZ, JERZY SEMKOW, LORIN MAAZEL, EDUARDO MATA, AND JOSE F. VASQUEZ SOLOIST DIES, AT 97”.
Or at the very least:
“FAMOUS MEXICAN PIANIST AND TEACHER DIES, AT 97”.
She was NOT famous !!
