Gives me hope I might keep going until I’m 70! LOL! It takes great courage to get up like that at 85 and then havng to practise so diligently to keep a voice going like that. An exceptional woman.
The diaphragm may be weaker, the memory weaker, the eyesight failing, but the lady has been taught how to sing. None of the chorus have, ever.
That’s probably a bit of an exaggeration, but yes, it’s a shame she doesn’t have backing singers more worthy of her talent.
