Shouldn’t the headline read “Covid-19 cancels Netrebko” ?
Yeah, but unfortunatelly it seems that Norman has been getting less views on his website recently, thus he has to use clickbait titles.
touchée
Off topic, but whenever I see this particular photo, I wonder at the marvel of photoshop.
Sounds like a smart thing to do.
she cancels more than she performs
Like that fat guy Pavarotti.
Maybe she sings a lot in the shower.
Get well soon
She has cancelled her performance in Il Trovatore, she has cancelled a trip to Spain, a country that has seen recent Covid spikes and from which some countries are subjecting returning travellers to quarantine, and she is just out of hospital.
What’s with blaming her for something sensible in a time of real uncertainty, roping in a bystander (Dudamel — she would have cancelled whoever was conducting, so he is hardly relevant except as a whipping boy) and the lack of sympathy for someone who has been ill?
I heard Willis-Sørenson’s Leonora in Paul Curran’s thrilling production of Il trovatore in Turin a couple of years ago. The audience is in for a real treat as Willis-Sørenson is the real thing.
Good luck, get well soon
We need you Anna, get well soon and be careful about the virus.
Get well soon Anna. Many, including me, likes opera because of you.
I hope she recovers without any organ damages. I heard of a man of 50 who’s a friend of my niece, after he contracted and recovered from COVID-19 he can’t even walk without a walking stick.
