mainJulian Lloyd Webber is to step down next month as principal of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
He has been awarded the title Emeritus Professor.
Lloyd Webber, 69, took up the post five years ago after ending his international career as a cellist. He moved the college to a new building and earned it a royal prefix.
