Corona claims second opera colleague in Milan
mainThe innovative architect Vittorio Gregotti, designer of the Arcimboldi Opera Theatre that was used while La Scala was under renovation, has died in a Milan hospital of Coronavirus. He was 92.
His is the second death to be mourned at La Scala, following the passing of former casting director Luca Targetti, who was 62.
At that age, he could have easily become a victim of the common flu as well.
