Well, I suppose Professor Doctor Katharina Wagner, Order of Merit, has to be remembered for something. It sure won’t be for the quality of her productions.
Perhaps for making Chris Thielemann (Prussian Order of Merit) Musikdirektor? Who will be next?
She’s never claimed the “Dr” title.

she s doing an excellent job as festival intendant and her Tristan staging was amazing. every single person in the summer is very happy with her. hopefully she and Maestro Thielemann will continue.
