Petteri Iivonen has won the audition for 1er violon solo at the Opéra Nationale de Paris.

Iivonen plays a 1755 G. B. Guadagnini loaned to him by the Finnish Cultural Foundation.

    What??!! He has a perfect job in a good orchestra – Finnish national opera! And he has been just 2 years in orchestra – after been violin soloist so many years. Why to leave?
