Bravo Professor!!!
Now it seems like the video, which I emailed, wasn’t uploaded properly! Oh well, I hope it will be soon.
I’m not sure what he taught, except that he can make small rhythmic leaps that a mostly in time with the music.
He taught that they have a professor who truly cares to make the music come alive for them. They will never forget it.
Any student of Dalcroze will tell you that externalizing rhythmic patterns and durations via large muscle movement adds another and invaluable layer of meaning and understanding of the music. The professor learned a lot, as did his students.
Always easy to find a spoil sport in a bit of fun!
