mainThe Operanostalgia site reports the death on March 22 of Carlo Franci, a conductor who recorded with the Vienna Philharmonic, the LSO and La Scala for Decca, Philips and other labels.
Son of the celebrated baritone Benvenuto Franci, he devoted the second half of his long life to composing.
