    In Norwegian, “ivrig” (pronnounced like Gytlis’ first name) means “keen” or “eager”.

    Pressler does not have to worry about his sound (just hit the right keys) – Gitlis does. It’s terribly difficult to get a good sound from the fiddle after one turns 80. However, Gitlis always plays with his inimitable style so I wish them well.
