Agree. The Brahms 2nd I heard him do with the Chicago remains the most thrilling orchestral concert I’ve attended in my 45+ years of concertgoing.

The Kleiber Tristan with Price on DG is one of my two all-time favorites, the other one being the live Covent Garden performance with Melchior, Flagstad, and Reiner.
