Want to see Lang Lang and Anne Sophie Mutter share a stage?
mainDeutsche Grammophon is celebrating its 120th anniversary tomorrow at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall with a concert featuring violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter and pianist Lang Lang, with Staatskapelle Berlin under the baton of Manfred Honeck.
The program includes works by Beethoven, Mozart and John Williams. Start time 2000 CET (1500 NY).
You can watch it on youtube right here.
(Except in France and Germany, where you have to watch it here.)
In a word: no.
You took the word out of my mouth
Yes
I’d rather hear the panda Ling Ling play the piano.
What, couldn’t they get Lady GaGa?
Der Titel dieses Artikels ist zu Lang Lang Lang.
Not doing a work together I assume. If they were doing sonatas as a duo and if he played as well and as musically as I think he is capable of, sure. First up: the Webern 4 pieces. She recorded them marvelously.
You need to keep up with the clock changes. The show starts at 2pm NYC, not 15 or 3pm.
Her, yes, him, no.
Ms Mutter shares a concert with Vengerov and Argerich next year for the Oxford Phil anniversary concert at the Barbcan; better than a LL concert for me, certainly.
