Met’s next baton just got a call to La Scala
mainThe Hungarian maestro Henrik Nanasi, ex-GMD of Komische Oper Berlin, is down to make his Met debut in January conducting Bluebeard’s Castle.
This week he got called to an earlier debut, taking over the last of a run of Elektra at La Scala after Christoph von Dohnányi called in sick.
