A student of Gaspar Cassadó, Alicia de Larrocha and Sandor Vegh, he taught in Germany and Spain and toured as accompanist with Christian Ferras, Salvatore Accardo and Teresa Berganza.
He recorded extensively for Claves.
Ricardo was a wonderful human being and an exceptional pianist. His Iberia is one of the indisputable references on record next to Alicia de Larrocha and Esteban Sánchez. Rest in peace.
