Horror: Orchestra director is savagely attacked in his office
mainMark Turner, executive director of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra in Canada, has been assaulted in his office by a stranger who hit him in the face with the blunt side of a fork.
The attack occurred at 1pm local and a suspect was later arrested. Mark is recovering at home.
Report here.
Everything but the kitchen sink.
The tuning fork ?
“I CAN’T TAKE THESE STRINGS PLAYING OUT OF TUNE ANYMORE !!!”
Hmmm,,,,me thinks there is more to this story.
More news at 11….
I guess it’s better to be attacked by a fork than a knife …
Recovering at home from being hit by the blunt side of a fork? What a wuss!
Well. He is…..Canadian.
To clarify for some commentors. He was stabbed in the eye by what was either a small pen knife or a utensil that had been fashioned in to a blade. Fortunately the blow glanced off the rim of his glasses and hit his eye socket in a spot that just missed his actual eye ball so he isn’t going to be blind in one eye. Mark is an accomplished pianist and still accompanies singers/ does some coaching in his spare time so that would have been an extra hardship if was no longer able to do that.
It happened in the middle of the day (just before 1 pm) in broad daylight, completely unprovoked, and in front of 3 other people. (Myself being one of them) The attacker walked out, not ran, and when arrested was found to be on various substances.
Please take the time to read the full article, or google some of the reports that were made as more facts came out before joking about what was a rather horrific event.
Thanks.
Apologies for the double commenting. It hadn’t appeared to go through the first time.

Lodge a complaint with the media that they omitted key facts in the story. They obviously edited in order to reserve more space for advertising.
I am horrified by this story and the attempt to be funny over what is a horrific event for anyone to endure. It could have been far worse but even so , no joking matter!
Society is getting more violent, sadly…
Sorry to inform you but if you had ANY knowledge of history, your puerile assertion would be…laughable.
