An opera soprano tries crowdfunding her career
mainFrom the Vienna-based Russian soprano, Ksenia Skorokhodova:
We are directed to everyone who loves music and wants to be part of a very special artistic career with their support.
Since today, our crowdfunding campaign for the production of professional of video -/ audio on startnext is online.
I’m looking forward to your support. As a reward for support, we offer many rewards, such as an invitation to the recording session, a personalized happy birthday recording or a egyptologist.
Wow!
An egyptologist? Crikey! Wonder what she really means?
She means an expert on the knowledge how to embalm performers so that they may live for ever. It’s shorthand for a record producer. Probably she intends to offer her own producer after her project is finished.
And, of course, embalmed conductors. Preserved on YouTube…;-)
Here’s a novel idea: How about securing an agent to secure her gigs for pay?
How to get an agent?
Hello? Anybody awake at DG ??
I would assume for being interesting for DG you must be able to sing without the need for pitch correction software? Isn’t she more interesting for a model agency?
What do you mean with pitch correction? If you think she needs pitch correction then there is something wrong with your ears.
No opportunities in Russia, eh? And I never log onto Farcebook. Voice timbre sounds pretty much forced to me but then I am not a singer. Good luck nevertheless.
A spelling mistake here, I fear ? It should read ArseBook or perhaps (F)arsebook is better ?
Well, French speakers do pronounce Facebook as Fessebook …
Trump uses Falsebook. And Twatter.
She looks very pretty and her voice has some quality, but the timbre is sounding somewhat roughly, there is always the same loudness and style. Normally timbre is difficult to modify, but technically she definitely needs new lessons by a good teacher, also regarding interpretation. I am afraid, she will not be able to be a soloist, but should audition at Vienna State Opera for the chorus…
Egyptologist is very strange… I think it is a fake article
