Why brave? I would love to go to a Beczala recital and in fact will do so in October in london. He is a regulat recitalist and doesnot need such a comment. I believe he is already in Zurich rehearsing for Werther
Agreed – a wonderful singer who no doubt has a recital or two up his sleeve. Generous, perhaps (though he will doubtless be well rewarded), but brave? I don’t understand why.
Very good news! I prefer Bexzala to Yoncheva. Not the same repertoire of course.
