the 3 concerts were a revelation. I thought that the Das Lied von der Erde was superb, the orchestra sounded magnificent even in Geffen Hall. I also fell for the last movement of the 10th, I now think that Cooke did a fabulous job

While Rattle’s first two children are adults, he and Kožená (as Chris points out) have children of their own; two boys and a girl, the oldest is 13 and the youngest 3 years old.
