John Wilson could not be reached for comment. (I just had to name-drop him.)

So — are the musicians going to have headphones so they can hear the “click track”? If you’re familiar with the numbers on the metronome, click track metronome numbers are like: 104.73 and 71.98.
Normally, the conductor has the click track in-ear. Incidentally, 71.98 is one of my favourite tempi. 104,73 I detest. Too rushy, that. Pushing 71.98 down a couple of notches, even 71,64 makes for a great Bolero.
