mainOpera Plus, a useful source for music in the Czech Republic, is shutting down after the Government slashed its grant.
Imagine, there are classical music sites that apply for and receive state aid.

Were they allowed to accept advertising?
They were allowed to take advertissement, but imagine, how small the Czech market is. They stopped because other websites, that were not as successful as Opera Plus kept they subsidy from the state. A very unfortunate and unjust situation. I am very sorry for them/us, they were a valuable and most visited website…
