    Actually, this music professor is Germany’s Professor of the Year and he’s one of four in total. Also there aren’t 250 music colleges in Germany but 24.

    there are far less than 250 Musikhochschulen in Germany: about 30, depending on your definition.

    this award is for professors at any type of university or institution for higher education.

    it is awarded by a foundation which belongs to a campus magazine that is distributed for free and financed through ads.

    prof. schmeding is one of four winners.
