Just in: New York Phil hires two new public faces
mainDeborah Borda has named two vice-presidents in a day, changing the orchestra’s public face.
Adam Crane head of external affairs at St Louis Symphony for the past nine years, becomes V-P external affairs.
Susan Madden, who has been raising big money at several Ny institutions, becomes V-P development.
Those are two tough jobs.
Adam is one of the best in the business. If anyone can be successful there, it’s him. Great hire. It’s inspiring to see how Deborah Borda is laying the groundwork to strengthen that institution.
Looks like major “house cleaning” at the NY Phil.
Deborah Borda’s moves are fantastic for the future of NYP!
Time to get rid of Alec Baldwin. Tabloid trash doesn’t mix well with the refined image the NY Phil tries to cultivate.
