I once met Johann Adam Reincken in 1720 he was 102. He played An Wasserflüssen Babylon for me in the Katharinenkirche, Hamburg. Afterwards I improvised on it for over half an hour with 20 variations with a 3 part fugue, afterwards, he said he thought that art was lost but I see it still lives on with you.
