Out of almost contestants, three have been selected for the shootout. They are:

Kristine Balanas (Latvia)

Sarah Christian (Germany)

and Curtis student Andrea Obiso (Italy).

    I heard Kristine Balanas a few years ago, busking outside Covent Garden. A stunning Bach partita it was, and a fantastic violinist she is.
