I’d rather wait until they will be czeched in 😉
Tomáš Hanus is a better musician.
hopefully none of them gets the job. Especially overrated and inexperienced Hrusa.
I don’t think Netopil has the international reputation the Czech Philharmonic can probably demand. Hrusa seems like the leading candidate NEXT time. But that’s just my instinct; I have no idea.
Jiri is so very very much missed!!!
Mediocre.
Hrusa inexperienced? Look at his discography and read to know how long he is already conducting! Relative unknown for many, maybe yes, but he is doing a great job here in Europe, specially with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra.
But Bamberg is in a different league than Czech Phil. And to be honest regardless of discography he is still very young and inexperienced conductor. He should try to focus and develop himself slowly over years not to become one of many overhyped young conductors who fizzled out very gefast.
Hrusa seems to be the right age, and is well-known in Prague and elsewhere, to be a very strong candidate.
