Rising US soprano collects third major award
mainNadine Sierra, 28, tonight won theĀ 2017 Richard Tucker Award, which carries a $50,000 cash prize and buckets of prestige.
She has already won the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions and the Marilyn Horne Competition. She is presently singing Lucia di Lammemoor in Venice.

Nadine will set La Fenice on fire – musically, of course :-). She did so a few years ago during the New Year Concerts, one of which I attended. Brava!
I heard her when she was a student at Mannes. She’s already a star.
